Research Analyst Intern

CNT Energy seeks a full-time Research Analyst Intern to provide technical and research support to CNT Energy staff. Our ideal intern is looking for direct experience in both field work and research, and is comfortable working with staff across all departments. The successful Intern will be highly analytical, detail oriented and have a broad base of knowledge and problem solving skills, as well as demonstrate a high level of initiative.  The intern will work on a number of short term, quick turn-around assignments (<20 hours) and longer term assignments simultaneously (~2 weeks) with specific deliverables, and should demonstrate competency and gain experience in managing workload.  The Intern will have the opportunity to gain in the field data collection experience as well as and analysis, communications and writing assignments to demonstrate applied knowledge.  Informal and formal presentations will be required, including to project teams, managers and Energy staff. Energy Auditor/Analyst

The Energy Auditor/Analyst will work primarily on the Energy Savers Program (http://www.cntenergy.org/buildings/energysavers/) providing technical assistance to affordable, multi-family building owners. The Energy Auditor will conduct energy audits, complete energy modeling of buildings and assist Energy Savers management to oversee all aspects of energy efficiency retrofit projects. The energy auditing role includes analyzing existing properties to evaluate the current and potential energy usage of multi-family rental buildings via a variety of evaluation tools, including utility bill analysis, comprehensive on-site audits, energy modeling and baseline analysis. Multimedia/Outreach Intern

CNT Energy is looking for a Multimedia/Outreach Intern who can help to produce, edit, and promote engaging multimedia content about our programs, services, organization, and industry. Our ideal intern has a mix of graphic design, photography, video (filming and editing) skills and education, along with an interest in social media and outreach. The intern will clearly, consistently, and effectively communicate our mission to a wide range of external stakeholders, including policymakers, practitioners, industry leaders, media, and program participants. Position: Director of Human Resources
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for establishing and developing key HR-organizational partnerships and developing an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and high performance.  The position is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of HR activities, including recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and training. The ideal candidate is flexible, resilient, strategic, a change agent, and demonstrates a sense of urgency and focus on the staff.  The person in this position will be part of the organization’s management team, and will manage HR functions for CNT and its affiliate organizations. The HR department currently includes the director and one part-time staff.
